    "Ashitaka, you mean so much to me.."    But....    "But I cannot forgive the humans for what they've done."    "I understand." --------    Ashitaka rolled over in his sleep and mumbled in his sleep. Yakkul stood beside him and nipped at his ear. 'Wake up, wake up.' The gesture meant.    "I understand..." Ashitaka mumbled into his straw mat, still alseep.    Nip. Nip.    "We'll always... be near...."    Nip.    He unconsiously raised his hand and attempted to swat at Yakkul and drive him away.  Yakkul snorted and nipped again. Ashitaka finally awakened and sat up, blinking sleepily, his short hair falling into his eyes.
